This Getting to Know God and His Word class is part of The Chamber of Life Series: Building Foundations / Growing in Faith. Do you want to know God better? This class, previously titled The Nature of God, helps you understand who God is; his ways, his character, and how he has revealed himself. Lessons include: Knowing the Master Builder, God’s Trustworthy Word, God as Our Personal Father, The Amazing Attributes of God, Jesus the Messiah has Come, The Person of the Holy Spirit, and more.
Your perspective of yourself will change as you view God correctly. You can imitate who He is once you know His true characteristics! The overcoming supernatural life is yours by discovering who God is and the authority the scriptures have in your very own life.
The mighty God of the universe is also your heavenly Father who loves you deeply. He understands you inside and out, and He desires for you to know Him personally, too. This class will joyfully guide you into the spiritual reality of knowing God’s heart through an intentional ongoing relationship with Him.
God has revealed the unchanging nature of His character to us in His Word. As you open your heart to encounter the living Lord, your discovery of God will unfold and your relationship with Him will deepen. You will be surprised and delighted to hear His voice, to learn from Him, and to touch His heart. You will be filled with the life of God, and you will always desire to come back for more. In the process, you will gradually be transformed to become like Him and to reflect His image to others.

Your Instructor
Dr. James W. Goll is the President of Encounters Network, the International Director of Prayer Storm, and the Founder of God Encounters Training – an eSchool of the Heart. He is a member of the Harvest International Ministries apostolic team and an instructor in the Wagner Leadership Institute. With great joy James has shared Jesus in more than 50 nations teaching and imparting the power of intercession, prophetic ministry, and life in the Spirit.
James is the prolific author of numerous books including The Seer, The Lost Art of Intercession, The Coming Israel Awakening, Deliverance from Darkness, A Radical Faith and many others.
In the spirit of revival and reformation, James desires to facilitate unity in body of Christ by relational networking among leaders of various streams and backgrounds. His passion is to "win for the Lamb the rewards of His suffering." Praying for Israel is a burden of his heart, as Israel fulfills her role in the consummation of the ages.
James and Michal Ann were married for 32 years before her graduation to heaven in the fall of 2008. James has four adult married children and a number of grandchildren. James continues make his home in Franklin, TN.
